Accommodation for hunters and their families is provided by Peel Forest Lodge. The lodge is owned and operated by the How family and has a Qualmark 4.5 star rating. It is a stunning hand-crafted log lodge built in a beautiful native New Zealand timber.

With spectacular views across farmland up to the mountains, you will find this a very relaxing place to stay and an ideal place from which to base your hunting expedition as the lodge is located close to our hunting areas. With a backdrop of native-forest on Mount Peel and the Southern Alps behind, the tranquil private setting of the lodge provides an ideal escape for you from your busy life.

The Lodge is well equipped and during your stay you will be treated to some excellent meals prepared by Pennie How. When possible Pennie likes to use produce from her own garden or what she has preserved during the year. Most of the food is locally sourced and is always of top quality and freshness.

The Lodge has wifi internet as well as cell phone coverage. There is an outdoor spa if you feel like a soak at the end of a hard day.

Geraldine is the closet town and has most things that one needs if there is anything you may have forgotten to bring.
